Conduct Aging & Immunization Webinar

August 2005
In preparation for the upcoming influenza season, several organizations worked together to conduct a webinar specifically designed for State Unit on Aging (SUA) Health Promotion/Disease Prevention liaisons. The purpose of the web-enhanced presentation, entitled Aging & Immunization Webinar, was to foster collaboration between SUAs and State Health Departments (SHDs) to implement successful immunization programs for older persons. The collaborating agencies were: the Administration on Aging (AoA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Immunization Program (NIP) and the Office of the Director (OD), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and NASUA.
